Candidate is proud to serve as the 2025 OUMSA Welfare Officer, supporting student wellbeing through peer support and organising events like Welfare Week. They’ve led initiatives including therapy dogs, yoga, mental health chats, and cultural events with PIHPSA, TOKŌ, and ROMSA. They also coordinate welfare teams at social events to ensure safe spaces. Peers have shared that their empathy, advocacy, and presence have helped them navigate challenges. They’re dedicated to creating a compassionate, inclusive community that supports students beyond academics.
