We received many applications from University of Auckland.

We were blown away by the calibre of entries and narrowing them down was no easy task. But now, it’s over to you — because these scholarships are for your peers, by your peers.

To ensure fairness and equity, all candidates are displayed anonymously. Voting is strictly limited to students enrolled in a Bachelor of Medicine in 2025 (MBChB) at Auckland University. Each voter can only vote once.

Financial support for student-led equitable projects

How are they positively contributing to the wellbeing of other students:

As President of Free Mock MMI, the candidate led a student-run initiative providing free medical school interview preparation to promote equitable access. In response to COVID-19, successfully transitioned online to break barriers to access, delivering over 1,700 interviews to 250+ applicants and launching a tutorial website — entirely without university funding. Now a registered charity, the initiative has continued to expand via social media. Despite financial constraints, this role has deepened their passion for continued advocacy of mentorship and equity in healthcare education.
