We received many applications from University of Auckland.

We were blown away by the calibre of entries and narrowing them down was no easy task. But now, it’s over to you — because these scholarships are for your peers, by your peers.

To ensure fairness and equity, all candidates are displayed anonymously. Voting is strictly limited to students enrolled in a Bachelor of Medicine in 2025 (MBChB) at Auckland University. Each voter can only vote once.

Support living costs & equity advocacy work

How are they positively contributing to the wellbeing of other students:

Candidate has dedicated countless hours to advocating for fellow medical students. As AUMSA President in 2024, they were instrumental in establishing the equity committee and improving the fitness to practice process, creating lasting change. From policy reform to peer support, their work has focused on equity and well-being. After years of behind-the-scenes effort, they’ve stepped back due to financial pressure but hopes this scholarship will allow them to return to advocacy and continue supporting future doctors to feel empowered and heard.
